The big one. Pets, AI editing, pixel badges and a lot more
Big oneTen updates went out together, so here is all of it in one place. The biggest things are at the top.
Pixel pets
Customize > Effects > Pixel petsLittle pixel pets live on your page now. They walk along the bottom, sit, nap and hop when someone pets them. Put one on top of your card instead and it walks along the edge.
The cat, ghost and puppy are free, and each pet can have its own colour. romance+ adds the bat, capybara and snake, two pets at once, and shiny skins: galaxy, chrome, neon, gold, glitch and frosted.
Spooky pets are a free Halloween drop until Nov 8. A pumpkin cat, a skeleton puppy, a vampire bat, a witch ghost, a candy corn capybara and a mummy snake. Claim them in Account > Seasonal.
Edit your page with AI
Settings > AI appsConnect Claude or any AI app that takes connectors, then just ask it to change your page. New look, new bio, new links.
You sign in on romance and press Allow. It never sees your email or password, and you can disconnect it any time.
Every change it makes is saved in Customize > Look > Go back, so you can undo anything you don’t like.
Pixel badges and new ones to earn
Account > BadgesEvery badge was redrawn as pixel art to match the romance heart.
New badges that come by themselves: Loved at 100 hearts and Adored at 1,000. Collector for five seasonal drops. Season sweep for every drop in a year. Viral for 1,000 views in one day. Survivor if you joined the Discord in its first month. Also Wears the tag, 1K clicks, One year, Gifter, Lucky number for UIDs like 7 or 1234, and Trendsetter when 30 people use a look you shared.
Night owl has to be earned now. Open your dashboard between 3 and 4am on 100 different nights. Your count shows under the badge.
Badges have their own roles in the Discord server, with the badge as the role icon. The bot gives them out by itself. How to get each one is at romance.rip/docs.
A second page and team access
Settings, romance+Make a second page on the same account. It has its own name, look, links and views.
Let a friend edit your page for anywhere from 15 minutes to a day. They can change the look and links and never touch your account.
Comments
Customize > General > CommentsTurn it on and a comments button sits in the corner of your page. Only signed-in romance people can write, and you can check each one before it shows.
Guestbook messages show on your Overview now too, with Approve, Show and Hide right there.
Levels in the Discord
romance DiscordTalk in the server and you level up. /rank shows yours, /levels shows the top 10. Level 10 lets you post pictures.
New layouts and card looks
Customize > Look > LayoutCrest, where your picture breaks out of the top of the card. Halo, with a glow behind your picture. Bento, where every part gets its own box. Monarch, with a crown and a double frame, for romance+.
A moving card edge in your own colours, two for everyone and up to four with romance+. Glint sends a light across the card every few seconds, and the card can draw a thin outline when someone points at it.
Banners can roll past like a film strip and carry text. New rings around your picture, a tall picture shape, and badges that sit on your picture or float above the card.
New backgrounds, filters and green screen
Customize > Look > BackgroundPixel blast ripples when you click. Pixel snow, lightning, light rays and liquid metal are new too. romance+ gets ferrofluid, liquid ether and iridescence.
Colour filters for the background or the whole page: black and white, sepia, duotone in your accent, faded, inverted. Halftone dots in any size.
Green screen cuts a colour out of your picture, banner or background, GIFs and videos included. You can upload your own overlay as well.
Drag your background or banner picture to move it, and zoom in. Pixelate the background or your stickers with a slider. Video backgrounds can play their sound.
Stamp wall and new blocks
Content > BlocksStamp wall is a block full of little 88×31 buttons. Pick from 24 we drew or make your own, and each one can link somewhere.
Also new: Chess.com and Lichess ratings, your latest Bluesky post, a likes and dislikes table, a status with your mood, an Instagram card, your Snapchat snapcode and a Shopify shop with prices.
GitHub shows your contribution graph, Minecraft shows your skin in 3D, clocks can show the visitor’s time, and galleries can be masonry or polaroids.
Start a page from a ready set of blocks. Turn on One scroll, one page and each scroll flips to the next one. romance+ gets draft pages only you can see.
Music
Customize > SoundTwo new players: marquee, where the title scrolls by, and Wavelength for romance+, a line that rides the sound.
A playlist button so visitors can pick a song. Crossfade, a delay before the first song, end a song early, and paste your own lyrics.
Your song pauses when someone plays a video on your page. Analytics shows your top songs.
Names, text and your own emoji
Customize > Effects > NameTwo new name effects, Static and Split. Four glow styles. Your location pin can bounce, ping, glow or decode.
romance+ can pick their own rainbow colours, give the name, bio, links and badges each their own font, and upload their own emoji to use as :name: in the bio and link titles.
Links can have a short description and an icon from our set of 25.
Enter screens, cursors and sounds
Customize > EffectsEnter screens can leave as a curtain or split in two. Shatter and TV off come with romance+. Three new enter sounds, and you can pick your click sound.
Try your cursor in a box under the settings before anyone sees it. New trails: ribbon, shooting star and ghost cursors, and trails work on phones now. Recolour any cursor, and romance+ can use animated .ani cursors.
Fireworks are in Effects.
Things to buy
Account > BadgesThree flex badges: Rich, Vampire and Mysterious. Your own badges come in packs of one, three or five with romance+.
Three name changes for €2.99 if you don’t want to wait. And you can trade names with someone now in Settings > Trade names, if you both agree.
The dashboard
everywhereClick "unsaved changes" on the save bar to see what you changed, undo one thing or jump to it. Turn on click to edit in the preview and any part of your page opens its setting.
Pages someone has open refresh by themselves after you save. With a night look, a Day and Night switch at the top lets you edit either one.
Friends row has four looks, can sit left, center or right, and names can be dragged into order. Location and joined can be aligned too.
Download your stats as a CSV. Start your look over in Settings without losing your content. Top 5 pages get a gold rank tag.
Fixes
Some pages couldn’t save at all and got told they used a blocked word. Fixed.
Pages run smoother on phones and slower computers. Font menus don’t open under other boxes anymore, and the picture no longer flashes during some openings. Scrolling in the preview works again.
Reports now say who sent them.
- v1.18.13
Streaks, mood lines and CS2
Big one- Streaks. Start one with a friend from Overview. You both send it once a day before midnight UTC. Miss a day and it breaks, but each streak gets one restore a month. You can have 15 at once.
- Streak badges at 7, 30, 60, 100 and 365 days. Coop pages show your streak next to the icon.
- Mood line. A short line under your name, set it in General or with /status in our Discord.
- Countdown block. Count down to a date, big boxes or one line.
- CS2 block with your hours and whether you are in a match. Sign in with Steam in Connections first so nobody can show someone else’s stats.
- The Steam card shows the game you are playing right now.
- Guestbook messages can get hearts now.
- Turn on Clicks in the preview to see how many clicks each link got.
- Every Monday you get a note with your views from the last week.
- Giveaways get posted in our Discord too. Hit Enter right there, and the winners get posted when it ends.
- Names, bios, links and guestbook messages with slurs get refused now. Trying again gets the account banned.
- v1.18.12
Drag parts anywhere, and safer accounts
New- In the preview, turn on Arrange here and drag any part wherever you want. Into the other column of a Duo card, or out of the card into its own box above, below, left or right of it.
- Deleting your account now sends a link to your email first. Nothing gets deleted until you open it, and it works for 10 minutes.
- If you joined with Discord, after 3 days we ask you to add an email you can open and a password. That way you can still get in if you ever lose your Discord.
- You can change your email in Settings. We send a code to the new one first.
- Fixed some bugs.
- v1.18.11
Embed and long text fixes
Fixes- Password managers could fill your email into the embed title in Settings, and it got saved. They skip those boxes now, and an email is never used as an embed title.
- Long words and long rows of symbols wrap to the next line instead of running out of your card, blocks, page titles and the embed preview.
- v1.18.10
Move parts anywhere, and a smoother page
New- Arrange has a new box called Where each part sits. Take your bio, links, music, blocks or anything else out of your card and put it above, below, left or right of it. On phones they stack under the card.
- If Live look is on, the preview tells you, and you can switch between your main look and each status look to see what visitors get.
- Rotate bio lines moved to General, right under your bio. Fade and Slide up keep your colours and styles now. Typed lines stay plain.
- Your Discord card shows Nitro when your avatar is animated, and a booster badge if you boost the romance server. Discord doesn’t share any other badges with bots.
- Custom cursors hide the normal one everywhere on your page, and they move without any delay.
- The list of who viewed your page scrolls now, and shows up to 40 people.
- Files over 40 MB get stopped right away with a message, and a stuck upload tells you instead of loading forever.
- The trace opening follows the card when it grows, so it lines up on wide cards.
- Pictures in blocks don’t blow up in wide boxes any more.
- Particles draw a little lighter, so busy pages feel smoother.
- v1.18.9
Fixes for badges, views and live looks
Fixes- Hovering your badges doesn’t make the card jump any more, and the badge name shows again. Your note fades while you hover.
- Views and hearts next to your facts are bigger and even. Big link icons used to blow up the eye and leave the number tiny.
- Live look and Night look only change how your page looks now. Things like stats at the bottom stay how you set them.
- The aliases number in Overview counts the same way the limit does, so one-letter names don’t make it say 6 of 5.
- Centered and right-aligned bio lines sit closer to the lines around them.
- v1.18.8
Notes, invite trees, badge roles and an API
Big one- Notes. Leave a short line above your picture from Overview, like "in class rn". It disappears after 24 hours.
- Share your page anywhere and the preview is a big card now, made from your name, picture, badges and colour. Switch it off in Settings if you like the small one.
- Go back. Your last 10 looks are kept in the Look room. Load an old one, and save it if you still like it.
- Liked by zai. When zai hearts your page you get a badge for it.
- Badges can take your page colour or any colour you pick, with glow, size and motion (float, wave, pulse, shimmer). Under Badges.
- Bio styles: <center>, <right>, <big>, <small>, <rainbow> and <shake>, next to the old ones. A How it works button under your bio shows all of them.
- The enter screen can have a small second line under "click to enter".
- Invites got bigger. Overview shows everyone who joined because of you. Bring in 5 people and you can pick your own code that 5 more can join with.
- Invite trees. romance.rip/tree/yourname shows who brought you here and who you brought. You can also show "invited by" on your page from General.
- The leaderboard has a Top inviters tab and a search. Type a name or #2.
- romance.rip/uid/2 opens whoever is number 2.
- Block right-click is a free switch in General. It stops right-click, dragging pictures, selecting text and save shortcuts.
- Who viewed your page shows properly on every layout now. It used to hide behind the card or come out tiny.
- Discord cards can show your avatar decoration, your Discord badges and your @username. Switches are in Connections.
- GitHub blocks can show your best repos and the languages you use. Last.fm blocks can show the last few songs too.
- Discord roles follow your badges by themselves now, every 10 minutes. Get a badge, get the role. When romance+ ends, that role goes too.
- /lookup works with a UID.
- Signing up with email doesn’t force Discord any more. It still gets you in faster.
- There’s a read-only API for bots and sites. Ask for a key in Settings → Developers, docs at romance.rip/developers. You can keep apps off your page in Privacy.
- romance.rip/docs explains how everything works, badges, names, invites, co-ops and the bot, in one place.
- The Yapper button in Overview uses the real logo.
- v1.18.7
Real views only, and co-ops you can dress up
Big one- Views are fair now. A visit counts once someone has had your page open for 3 seconds. When a page suddenly gets far more views than it ever does, the new ones wait for a check. Waves that come from a script get taken out, real ones count as normal. Pages that were botted before got cleaned up.
- Co-ops can look however you want. Backgrounds, colours, card style, effects, cursor and music, same as your own page. You can also pick how your cards sit, add a line about you two, a "together since" date that counts the days, and the colour, size and motion of the icon between you.
- Connecting a Discord that was already used on another romance sign-in no longer drops you on the front page. You get told what happened, and if that other sign-in is empty you can move Discord over in one click.
- Your avatar shows on your name card again, even when it’s a link from another site.
- The "start at" time on songs works every time you press play.
- Yapin connections use the real Yapin logo now, and you can connect Yapin with one click from Connections.
- The menu bar on the front page fits on smaller laptop screens.
- v1.18.6
A new front page
New- The front page got a rework. Scroll past the top and watch a name fall apart one letter at a time.
- The one-letter wall shows which letters are still up and which are gone for good, live.
- Typing a name on the front page tells you right away if it’s taken, and whose page it is.
- Co-ops got their own spot. You can see how a page with a friend or a partner looks before you make one.
- The demo phone has status buttons now, and the features list has a search.
- v1.18.5
Your badge, your picture
New- Your own badge can use a picture you upload now. Square PNGs look best, and staff check it before it shows.
- Sixteen new icons for your own badge, from a ghost and a gamepad to a cherry and a planet.
- Badge names that look like official ones or the team get stopped, even with numbers swapped in.
- Songs set to start at 0 seconds play again.
- v1.18.4
A role in the Discord
New- When you’re let in, or when you link your account with /link, the bot gives you the romance role in the Discord.
- Owners and founders can make their own badge without buying it.
- v1.18.3
Hearts and seasonal drops
Big one- Hearts. If you’re signed in, you can give any page a heart. The pages with the most get their own tab on the leaderboard, and you get a note when someone hearts yours. You can hide the count in General.
- Seasonal drops. A new page under Account. Some things only come out for a few weeks, and if you claim them while they’re out they stay yours for good. Halloween has bats and a haunted name until November 7. Winter comes in December.
- Birthday mode in General. On the day your page throws confetti and says it’s your birthday, and the bot tells the Discord.
- Particles can fall inside your card now instead of behind it. Or both. It’s under Effects.
- Rotating bio lines can fade or slide in now, and you pick how long each line stays. Decrypt names play again when you hover them.
- /lookup in Discord shows anyone’s page by name or by picking them. Leave it empty for your own, or right-click someone and pick romance page. /heart gives a page a heart without leaving Discord.
- romance+ got five new things. Live look gives your page its own look for online, idle, busy and offline. Beat sync moves your page with the bass of your song. There’s a 3D chrome name like the one on our homepage, your song cover as a background, and phone tilt.
- Try romance+ before you buy it. Open romance+ and press Try it on your page first. It all works in your preview and nothing gets saved.
- Your own badge. With romance+ you can add a badge that’s only yours for €1.99. You decide how it looks and what it says, and the team checks the name before it shows.
- romance+ is €2.99 until November 7. After that it’s €3.99. If you already have it, nothing changes.
- Notifications got cleaner, and the Inbox is called Notifications now.
- Removing Discord sign-in in Settings works again.
- Scrolling with a touchpad feels normal again, Chromebooks especially.
- No more weekly or reminder emails. We only email you for sign-in codes, password resets and confirming your email.
- v1.18.0
Invites for you and giveaways
Big one- You can invite people now. The team hands out invites, and each one makes a link that works once. Whoever joins with it skips the waiting list. Your invites live on your Overview.
- Pick who you invite with care. If someone you brought in gets banned you get a warning. At three, your unused invites go back.
- Giveaways. When one is running it shows on your Overview with an Enter button. Winners get picked at random when the timer runs out.
- romance+ can come for a week or a month now, from giveaways or from the team. Everything is on while it lasts, except picking a two-letter name. That one stays with romance+ for good. You get a heads up three days before it ends, and your plus looks stay saved for next time.
- Gift romance+ to a friend. Open romance+, type their name and pay. It turns on for them the moment it lands, with a note that it came from you.
- Inbox. A new page under Account with everything you were sent. Messages from the team, news and gifts each get their own tab.
- The bot DMs you when something lands for you: invites, romance+, a gift, a giveaway win or a message from the team.
- v1.17.0
Games, new badges and a smooth arrange
Big one- Games. A full-screen section with your games as covers. Your favourite sits big with a star and the rest are scattered around it, or flip through them one by one. Pick from over a hundred popular and niche ones, search Steam for the rest, or upload your own cover.
- Each part in its own card. Turn it on in Look and your music, Discord and blocks get their own boxes under your card. With Duo they line up on the right. Clock and weather sit side by side as small tiles.
- Sections got big glowing headings with a small Page 1 of 3 above them. New List section too, a card with lines that sits next to its heading.
- Night sky. Tiny stars, a few bright ones that glint, and a shooting star now and then.
- Waveform player. Cover on the left, bars that fill as the song plays, the title under it.
- Your @name under your display name, the month you joined, lines around your bio, and views with your UID at the foot of the card. All in General.
- The Minecraft block can show a player now, with their head and a NameMC button.
- Badges got redrawn. Clean icons now, no more pixels. Pick how they show: plain, glowing, on tiles, with labels or all in one pill. The owner heart stays as it was.
- Halloween 2026. Everyone gets the pumpkin badge. Hide it in Badges if you don’t want it.
- Arrange is smooth now. Hold any part and drag it where you want, the rest slides out of the way. The Badges list works the same.
- Views count up from zero when someone opens your page. Slow at first, then quicker. Turn it off in General.
- Four new layouts without a banner: Stack, Compact, Duo and Bottom.
- A Minecraft font.
- Crypto wallets show as just their coin icons, in their own row. Clicking one copies the address.
- Flowing lines and fog, two calm new backgrounds. Stage lights too, and they work on top of any background.
- Ghost card. It fades into your background so it’s there and not there at the same time.
- Two new card openings. Trace draws the outline of every part, Blueprint lays out guides before the page fills in.
- Seven new cursor trails. Line and comet are clean. Glitter, confetti, fire and ink get messy.
- v1.16.0
Pay in crypto
New- You can buy romance+ with Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum right from the dashboard. Open romance+, pick a coin, send the exact amount and it turns on by itself.
- Donations. Give any amount from €1 and get the Donor badge. €4.99 or more comes with romance+ too.
- PayPal still works. Join the Discord and open a ticket.
- Icon links look clean now. Just the icon with a soft glow, no box around it. Pick the size, how much it glows, and your button color, brand colors or your text color. Soft tiles and the old buttons are still there.
- Avatars lost the ring by default. Add a glow instead, or turn the ring back on.
- Cards, weather, the clock and the icon row now line up with the rest of your page in every layout.
- v1.15.0
romance+
Big one- romance+ is here. €2.99 once and it stays yours. Pay with PayPal or crypto, message @zaifying.
- Two-letter and two-number names like /xd or /29 are romance+ now. Mixed ones like /c8 or /9c stay free, and so do names like /c_ and /c.
- Your own Discord embed. Pick the side colour, the small top line and a picture, big or small.
- Dither your picture. Your own image redrawn in pixels with two colours, and a light that follows the cursor.
- Pixel name. Your name is made of pixels that fly in, scatter from the cursor and snap back.
- Mood light. The page glows in the colour of the song cover while it plays.
- Rolling view counter, like an odometer.
- Night look. Save a second look and it takes over at night, on every visitor’s own clock.
- Afterdark, a dithered name card finish.
- romance+ also gets 5 aliases, a name change every 7 days, songs and pictures up to twice as big, and a full year of stats with who’s on your page right now.
- Anyone who already has a two-letter name keeps it.
- v1.14.0
New dashboard
Big one- The dashboard is rebuilt from scratch. A sidebar on the left, your page on the right, bigger text and buttons. It feels a lot faster too.
- Overview starts with your page. A small live copy of it, your link, your numbers, a ring that fills up as you finish your page, and your week.
- Big preview opens your page almost full screen and changes as you edit.
- Arrange right inside the preview. Drag a part up or down, hide it with the eye, click it to jump to its settings.
- A new Line player. Cover on the left, a thin line with the times, and the buttons. Pick the cover shape, line thickness, width and colour.
- Icons only rows can wear wings now. Pixel wings, angel wings, sparkles, arrows, hearts or your own picture on both sides of every icon, with a mark between them.
- Drag your badges into any order and hide any of them, Owner and Verified too.
- Darker boxes, a calmer save bar and a shorter scroll glide.
- Your files sit in one place. Drop in a background, a song, an avatar and a cursor without hunting for them.
- Links start with a wall of almost 40 platforms in their own colours. Type your handle and the rest of the address fills itself in.
- Templates are made by you now. Publish your look, star the ones you like, search them and use one in a click. Your songs stay.
- Arrange lets you drag the parts of your card into any order and hide any of them.
- Three new layouts. Left puts everything on the left. Side banner puts a picture beside your card. Poster goes full width with a giant name.
- Badges have their own page. romance+ opens as a small card that shows what it adds.
- Sign in and sign up got the same new look.
- The typewriter font is gone everywhere.
- The tab title works again and cursor particles stopped lagging.
- Synthwave, Tunnel, Ripple and Cells backgrounds are gone.
- v1.13.0
Openings
Big one- Three new ways for your card to open. Draw traces it in thin lines first. Dither lets pink pixels settle into it. Rise brings each part up one by one. Speed and flash are yours to set.
- Your card can follow the cursor now. Pick how hard, and if it tilts, drifts or both. A soft light follows along if you want it.
- Cursor trail. Sparkles, stars, snow, embers or pixel hearts fall off the cursor while it moves and stop when it stops.
- Split layout puts your card on the left and your links on the right. Links can be even tiles too, with a slow glow and a shine on hover.
- Every section has its own link now, like romance.rip/you/about-me. Send someone straight to it.
- A wavy enter screen, a pixel arrow under your card, a lit edge for the card and a pixel heart on the vinyl.
- New pages start plain and black now, so they look like you from the first change.
- Views are counted more strictly. Scripts and refresh spam no longer add up.
- v1.12.0
Guestbook
Big one- Guestbook block. People with a romance page can leave you a message. You choose if it waits for you or shows right away.
- Favourites block. Search anime, manga, shows, films, games, albums or books and the covers show up as a row you can swipe.
- Style your bio. Bold, italic, underline, strike, spoilers, glow, wavy letters and colours. Select words and tap a style.
- Friends row. Put up to 8 other romance pages on your card.
- Your Discord card can show your server tag, when you were last online, and that you boost the romance server. Each one has a switch in Live.
- The leaderboard has today, this week and this month now, plus most badges and top plugs.
- On phones the dashboard menu stays on top while you scroll, and your blocks sit above the add buttons.
- v1.11.0
Ask with Discord
New- No invite? Request a page with Discord at romance.rip/request. You land in our server while you wait.
- Every request gets read by hand. When you’re in, the bot messages you on Discord.
- Then you pick your name. First come, first served, so have a backup ready.
- Joined with Discord? You can add a password in Account as a backup.
- Discord buttons look like Discord now.
- v1.10.2
Referral codes
New- Some people now have their own code and a link at romance.rip/join. Whoever joins with it skips the waiting list.
- The Plug badge goes to people who bring others in. Hover it to see how many.
- You still sign in right after joining. Confirm your email from Account within 3 days, or the account gets locked until you do.
- Your bell reminds you every 10 hours until it’s confirmed.
- For now, sign-ups without a referral code get a quick look by hand before the page goes live. Your name is saved while you wait.
- While you wait, connect your Discord. It adds you to the romance server, and the bot messages you the second you’re in.
- v1.10.1
Notifications you won’t miss
Fixes- New notifications ring the bell, pop up under it and play a soft chime. Turn the sound off inside the bell.
- The tab shows how many you haven’t read.
- News from us now lands straight in your bell, sometimes just for you.
- Joining with an invite code takes you straight to your dashboard. No email to confirm.
- One-letter names are easier to reach: 7 days on romance, a picture and a couple of links, and 100 views.
- Your Discord bio counts for repping. Discord doesn’t let bots read bios, so you tell us and staff check it.
- v1.10.0
Notifications and one-letter names
New- A bell at the top of your dashboard. It tells you when your page hits a view milestone, when someone answers your Discord card, when you’re invited to a coop, when you get a badge, and when there’s an update.
- One-letter names can be asked for now. Meet the requirements under Account, pick a free letter and we decide by hand.
- Hold more than one name and switch which one is your main link whenever you want.
- If you hold a letter, keep romance.rip in your Discord bio or status, or your Yapper bio. Letters that go unrepped can be given to someone else.
- Your idea from /suggest gets a notification when we plan it or ship it.
- v1.9.1
Spotify players fixed
Fixes- Spotify playlists in a Player block fill their space again, in both sizes, without the white box under them.

- The leaderboard and this changelog are in the menu at the top of the homepage now.
- v1.8.0

- Split your card into pages, with six ways to switch between them.
